To use the e-bike service, you must know and comply with the following rules:

1. The user and the manager (or his delegate) upon delivery of the bicycle will check its functional status. By taking delivery of the bicycle, the user acknowledges that it is mechanically efficient and declares that he has previously checked it.

2. The bicycle is to be used exclusively as a means of transport and must be treated with care, common sense and diligence; competitions, reckless maneuvers and exhibitions of any kind are prohibited. The user must use the vehicle in such a way as to avoid damage, both to it and to its accessories.

3. The user must comply with the rules of the highway code, rules which he claims to know. Girobike declines all responsibility in the event of proper use of the vehicle and failure to comply with the rules of the highway code.

4. The use of the bicycle presupposes the physical fitness and technical expertise of whoever intends to ride it. Therefore the user using the bicycle declares to be equipped with adequate capacity and appropriate competence, without making any reservations.

5. Any fact, damage or injury resulting from the circulation and use of the bicycle is attributable to the user alone. The user is therefore responsible for damages caused to himself, to third parties, to things and to the bicycle during use of the vehicle. No form of compensation can be requested from Girobike.

6. In the event of damage and/or breakage caused to the rented vehicle, punctures excluded, the user will have to pay the damages caused which will be quantified by the manager with the support of Girobike's technical staff upon return of the vehicle.

7. The use of the bicycle is reserved for adults unless the minor is accompanied by an adult who assumes full responsibility in writing.

8. The manager may refuse to rent a bicycle to people who are not deemed able to ride it (in accordance with articles 186 and 187 of the Highway Code) or for other reasons and in any case at the sole discretion of the manager himself.
